Pacific H2 Projects

PacificH2 is developing project sites that offer the shortest shipping distances from the U.S. to Asia. The sites include existing deep-water docks, and available land for onshore facilities and energy production. We are also evaluating sites at U.S. West Coast ports for local green hydrogen and green ammonia use.

We will utilize H2Carrier’s P2XFloater™ which will provide several advantages over traditional shore-based production facilities:

  • All aspects of Green Ammonia production will be housed on a ship, simplifying construction.
  • Makes the use of remote sites economical
  • No need for expensive, long-lead time civil works to construct an onshore site
  • If circumstances change, the ship can be relocated, preserving invested capital.
  • Lower carbon intensity compared to a shore-based facility and easier to decommission and recycle after its useful life
