Charles Deister
CEO
Mr. Deister has more than 30 years’ experience in politics, media, and government affairs, with 15 years of specialist experience in regulatory and government affairs on large natural gas and LNG projects. He was previously a vice president at Edelman, a global consultancy, managing energy and infrastructure clients. He is a former director of government affairs in the Pacific Northwest for Charter Communications, and has also worked as a newspaper editor, and press officer in the Office of the Governor of New York State.
D. Scott Peterson
Exec. Vice President
Mr. Peterson is a proven developer with more than 25 years’ experience on natural gas, energy and large infrastructure projects His work has included CNG and LNG projects, interstate gas pipelines and dairy digesters. He was previously a senior vice president with a global consultancy managing energy and infrastructure portfolios. He is also experienced at managing stakeholder engagement and has worked closely with labor unions and state and federal regulators.
Chris Haddon
VP, Development
Mr. Haddon has more than 35 years’ experience developing oil and gas projects with 17 years’ experience in multibillion dollar LNG developments in Australia, Europe, Canada, and the U.S. He holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering and an MSc in project construction management.
Mick Rowlands
VP, Engineering
Mr. Rowlands has more than 30 years of major project experience, including 20 years designing and engineering major industrial facilities. He has 14 years’ experience developing multibillion dollar LNG projects in Africa, Australia, Europe, Canada, and the U.S. He is a licensed professional engineer with undergraduate degrees in civil engineering and structural engineering.
Alexandra Foote
Legal Counsel
Ms. Foote handles corporate matters including commercial leasing, securities, trademarks, employee matters and litigation in both state and federal courts. She has handled high-profile cases involving the California Attorney General and the United States Department of Justice. Her early legal career focused on catastrophic environmental cases and mass torts such as the Exxon Valdez as well as other cases involving CERLA and other large-scale environmental contamination issues. She holds a J.D. from the University of California San Francisco Hastings College of Law, and a M.A. in Environmental Studies from Brown University. She is licensed to practice law in California and Oregon, and is a partner at Weinberg Gonser, LLP in Los Angeles, California.
